At Home By Myself, With You Review

At Home By Myself, With You

Are you afraid of anything? Spiders, ghosts, the dark? How about being scared of ever going outside, lobsters, thunderstorms, opening boxes, or kissing even? Romy (Kristen Booth) is and there isn’t anything that will change that... Well maybe, that is if love could persuade you and stick by you through every baby step.
At Home By Myself, With You has a version of reality that is so captivating because everyone is scared of something just like how Romy is scared of things. The way Kristen Booth portrays Romy is really well done and the way that Aaron Abrams portrays the mysterious bad boy look is fitting and a bit cliché to the fact that it is a romantic comedy.
The way this film makes you laugh at its quirkiness and get all mushy from how romantic and cute it is definitely gives it the title of a rom-com. Its twist of how the two lovers meet is very different compared to most movies and there really isn't anything cliché about it.
The movie shows that you are able to keep living and everyday life while having irrational phobias, like how Romy (Kristen Booth) has some friends that help her open boxes and make it possible for her to never leave her apartment, and Kris Booth, the director, did a great job of portraying this point and I think everything that happened wasn't a cliché Hollywood rom-com, its a very realistic storyline.
The intended audience is probably women over the age of 14 but any women would like this movie.
